I finished the baby socks for my co-worker, I think they turned out cute.
I used some left overs from my sock stash, my own made up pattern on size 2 addi's.
I also managed to start the Argosy scarf. I think I made pretty good progress on it for just a few hours of knitting. Here's the beginnings of it hanging in my Russian Sage.
This is my whopping one day weekend so it's back to work tomorrow. I am attempting to get some laundry done and do a little cooking so that I don't have to during the week. The tat is healing well but it's going in to the itchy stage and like chicken pox, NO scratching.
Here I am starting the Argosy scarf, wearing my sweet tie dye ensemble.
Looks like Sonya tagged me for the 7 random things thingy
1. I am a compulsive rule breaker, just the little things but I hate to move with the herd.
2. I didn't start college until I was 35 (see above).
3. My older sister Gus taught me to knit when I was 8 years old.
4. I hate purling, English or Continental.
5. I went through a level 5 hurricane (Hugo) on the Island of St. Croix in 89'.
6. I now have a total of 3 tattoos with more planned.
7. Both myself and Mr. Larj are left handed.
In reference to #1 I am going to break the rules and not tag anyone. Everyone have a great week!!

Your scarf is beautiful!!!!
Congrats on having some knitting - the scarf and socks both look great - cheerful colors for fall.
Argosy is on my list - what yarn ya usin'?
I totally love the wee socks. :)
Kristi, I'm using Noro Silk Garden, the pattern called for Silk Garden "lite" but...I am using the regular weight and went up a needle size.
The little socks are adorable! Love 'em! Your tattoo is beautiful, the artwork amazing.
Oh man... I tagged you too. Oh well. :)
I love that Argosy! Sooo pretty!
Awww, these little sockies are ever so cute - and your Argosy is coming along beautifully too, great colors!
What a cool video of you knitting, I'd love to be there with you now sitting in the shade and knitting along - perfect indeed! And your 7 things were highly interesting to read through - I'm *so* with you on #1, and I hate purling too ;)))
Love the socks - lucky baby! Your Tat looks great - really pretty colors. Will they stay as bright?
I had also begun Argosy but abandoned it for an unknown reason. Maybe I'll get going again on it. I hope you had a good day off -
The socks are great! (And I like the tat from the older post, too!)
Pretty little socks and the scarf is going to be beautiful
